O.K. Video Space Horror 7 Pitch Black

Before he was Groot or Dominic Toretto, Vin Diesel was Richard B. Riddick, the man who could see in the dark. What a perfect super power for him to have on a planet that becomes shrouded in a months long eclipse every 22 years, allowing the subterranean murder lizards to come to the surface and feast on whomever they may find. The movie is Pitch Black and it is the seventh Space Horror film in O.K. Video's latest batch of movies. Thanks for joining us. O.K. Video Space Horror 6 Supernova

Simultaneously one of the worst mainstream films ever put out and the most approachable film Francis Ford Coppola has been involved with in over two decades, this week's space horror entry is Supernova . A bored and boring James Spader has to contend with a murderous man who has been spending too much time with an alien lava lamp that gives him superhuman strength.  If you want to email us, ryan@okvideo.ca or nathan@okvideo.ca will get it done. Tweets can be sent to @okvideopodcast if that is your preferred platform. You can also comment on our website at www.okvideo.ca Thanks for listening! -N Supernova

O.K. Video Space Horror 5 Life

O.K. Video is here to celebrate Canadian Box Office King Ryan Reynolds and his astronaut film, Life . Coincidentally, that is also the name of one of Nathan's favourite breakfast cereals. Thanks for joining us. Oh, and Jake Gyllenhaal is the real star here, just wanted to acknowledge that this episode was originally released shortly after Free Guy game out. O.K. Video Space Horror 4 Sunshine

Ryan and Nathan are walking on Sunshine this week, thanks for joining us. Alex Garland and Danny Boyle teamed up to bring us this tale of dying stars and sunburnt madmen. It has the requisite body count to qualify as a space horror film, so O.K. Video is on the scene. If you want to message us, ryan@okvideo.ca or nathan@okvideo.ca are the email addresses to use, or tweets can be sent to @okvideopodcast.  -N Sunshine

O.K. Video Space Horror 3 Event Horizon

Magnolia , Death Race 2000 , Boogie Nights , Mortal Kombat . The films of Paul Anderson are varied and bewildering in numerous ways. Nathan and Ryan take a look at a movie pitched as The Shining in space, Event Horizon from 1997. Which Paul Anderson will they get? The pretentious windbag or the inept, tone-deaf schlockmeister? Either way, it's going to be an episode of O.K. Video. Thanks for listening. If you want to point out the obvious error in our write-up this week, email ryan@okvideopodcast or nathan@okvideopodcast, or let us know that you got the joke on twitter, @okvideopodcast -N  Event Horizon
