O.K. Video High Concept 90s Action 7 Wild Wild West

Just in time for the same month as the Stampede, O.K. Video is here to celebrate the biggest, burliest steampunk western of the 90s, Wild Wild West . Is it a high concept action movie though? Ryan has eight reasons as to why it qualifies. Somehow we also get to talking about the worst films we've discussed on the podcast. Thanks for joining us. If you'd like to send us some questions, okvideopodcast on Twitter and instagram are the best ways, but we also have emails, ryan@okvideo.ca or nathan@okvideo.ca  -N Wild Wild West

The One Hundredth Episode of O.K. Video is... Air Force One ! This easily pitch-able premise is the centrepiece of our look at High Concept Action Films of the 90s. Wolfgang Petersen directs this claustrophobic, high-flying action slugfest between President Harrison Ford and crazy-pants Gary Oldman. Thanks for joining us. O.K. Video High Concept 90s Action 5 Universal Soldier

In the near-future, 1994, the military will reanimate their best, deceased soldiers and put them into service again as human drones. Such is the premise of Universal Soldier , starring Jean Claude Van Damme as Luc and Dolph Lundgren as Andrew, two soldiers who have unresolved beef with each other from the night of their deaths in 1969.  Thanks for joining O.K. O.K. Video High Concept 90s Action 4 Hard Rain

Calgary has been RAINY this summer, so what better time to look at Hard Rain , the Christian Slater action flop from 1998? Ryan and Nathan continue their look at the high concept action vehicles of the 90s with this wet heist movie, co-starring Morgan Freeman and Randy Quaid as parties interested in acquiring a sack full of millions of dollars during a major flood in Indiana. Thanks for joining us! If you want to send some emails our way, ryan@okvideo.ca or nathan@okvideo.ca are the addresses, or you can engage with us on Twitter and Instagram, okvideopodcast. This episode does feature the debut of Ryan's new microphone, so apologies if it sounds a bit different than last week. Do not adjust your set! -N Hard Rain
