The Assistant Editor on The Evil Dead can direct and write films of his own? Who knew? Ryan and Nathan kick off their first ever director spotlight with Blood Simple. The debut feature of the Coen Brothers, this film serves well as a showcase for a lot of the themes and general vibe the brothers explore in their four decade career. That's right, despite what we may say in the episode, we are going to look at every feature the Coen's have done thus far, so buckle up for our biggest batch ever. Thanks for joining us.
